Well where do I start?
That intro makes it sound like I’m up to sooo much fun stuff and have so many interesting facts to share about myself, but it’s all pretty boring really.
I write stories where scary stuff happens, I blog about nonsense, I am an amateur serial killer in the making, and I love snuggling up with my cute little kittens in front of a warm fire (only one of those statements is false).
I enjoy reading, which is a good thing if you want to write, as you need to know how to do it properly! King, Kafka, Palahniuk, Barker, Lovecraft, Jackie Collins; all the greats.
Films, yes I like them. Food, I enjoy eating it. Drums, I love banging them.
I hope to take over the world one day and make everyone listen to ear-shattering grindcore at all times, to only complain that my music is becoming too mainstream.
And that’s it really. Oh yeah, I also have a GSOH, although you’d probably doubt that if you ever met me.

Book Review – Communion by Steve Stred

Book Review – The Resurrectionists by Michael Patrick Hicks
You know you’re onto a good thing when a book opens with a group of doctors in those creepy bird-like plague masks surrounding a bound woman, who then proceed to slice her up. Yes, just a few pages into this… Read More ›

Book Review – Rise by Jackson R Thomas
Last year I read Paradise, Maine by Jackson R. Thomas and really enjoyed it. It had gore, guts, and one evil beast intent on sadistically butchering anyone happening to be around. It was really great, so when the opportunity was… Read More ›

Book Review – The Midwives by Duncan Ralston
Having thoroughly ‘devoured’ The Midwives (which is certainly an intentional pun) I feel compelled to write about just how damn great it is. Ahem, so I will. This novel of folklore, macabre practices, a killer on the loose looking for… Read More ›

Book Review – Sole Survivor by Zachary Ashford
It’s been a while since I read a fast-paced splatter-fest. Not through choice, it just hasn’t worked out that way. But this novella was a firm reminder that these kinds of stories are such a great load of gore-encrusted fun…. Read More ›

Book Review – Whispers in the Dark by Laurel Hightower
I’d heard many great things about this novel from reviewers, bloggers, and Twitterites who’s opinions are usually spot on. So what took me so long to get around to reading it? Well let’s not get bogged down with the details,… Read More ›
