Well where do I start?
That intro makes it sound like I’m up to sooo much fun stuff and have so many interesting facts to share about myself, but it’s all pretty boring really.
I write stories where scary stuff happens, I blog about nonsense, I am an amateur serial killer in the making, and I love snuggling up with my cute little kittens in front of a warm fire (only one of those statements is false).
I enjoy reading, which is a good thing if you want to write, as you need to know how to do it properly! King, Kafka, Palahniuk, Barker, Lovecraft, Jackie Collins; all the greats.
Films, yes I like them. Food, I enjoy eating it. Drums, I love banging them.
I hope to take over the world one day and make everyone listen to ear-shattering grindcore at all times, to only complain that my music is becoming too mainstream.
And that’s it really. Oh yeah, I also have a GSOH, although you’d probably doubt that if you ever met me.

Book Review – 12 Gauge: Songs From a Street Sweeper by Dustin LaValley
In these pages you will find a healthy amount of death, gore, and general evil-doing bastards. Dustin LaValley knows how to write violence, he also knows his music, but more of that to follow. This is a collection of three… Read More ›

Book Review – Call Drops by John F. Leonard
This tale by John F. Leonard is a short delve into darkness. As a stand alone short story I’d been putting it off for a while, instead preferring to tackle a collection of stories or a novel. But when scrolling… Read More ›

Book Review – Siphon by A. A. Medina
Siphon was a dark, disturbing read that I only appreciated exactly how disturbing it was once I’d finished. I’d read A A Medina’s collection of short stories, Itch, dug them, so decided the time was right to dive into his… Read More ›

Book Review – The Haunting of Hope House by Astrid Addams
I blitzed through this short and creepy novella in no time at all. Stories involving haunted houses are not exactly short on the ground, and this one did little to reinvent the genre, but was an entertaining, fun ride never… Read More ›

Book Review – Sugar Skulls by M.R. Tapia
When writing a book review I normally have to get on it very soon after finishing the story. I may even make a few notes to remind myself of things I want to say so I don’t forget them if… Read More ›

Some Thoughts on The Collector by John Fowles
I must start off by saying that this post is not so much a review, but more of a collection of thoughts on this most excellent book. So with that in mind there’s gonna be plenty of spoilers coming up…. Read More ›

Book Review – Bird Box by Josh Malerman
I am a little embarrassed to admit that until recently I had never read anything by Josh Malerman. I’d heard great things about his books and decided that it was about time I stopped messing around and immersed myself in… Read More ›
