Well where do I start?
That intro makes it sound like I’m up to sooo much fun stuff and have so many interesting facts to share about myself, but it’s all pretty boring really.
I write stories where scary stuff happens, I blog about nonsense, I am an amateur serial killer in the making, and I love snuggling up with my cute little kittens in front of a warm fire (only one of those statements is false).
I enjoy reading, which is a good thing if you want to write, as you need to know how to do it properly! King, Kafka, Palahniuk, Barker, Lovecraft, Jackie Collins; all the greats.
Films, yes I like them. Food, I enjoy eating it. Drums, I love banging them.
I hope to take over the world one day and make everyone listen to ear-shattering grindcore at all times, to only complain that my music is becoming too mainstream.
And that’s it really. Oh yeah, I also have a GSOH, although you’d probably doubt that if you ever met me.

Book Review – And a Dark Horse Dreamt of Nightmares by Keith Anthony Baird
I’m a big fan of Keith Anthony Baird’s work. His two previous novels, The Jesus Man and Nexilexicon were thoroughly enjoyable, and pretty dark. So now he’s gone and released a collection of short stories. So the question is, can… Read More ›

Book Review – The Doom That Came to Dunwich by Richard A. Lupoff
It’s been a while since I devoured some Lovecraft; sad times indeed. But when I saw this collection of HP-inspired stories I just had to get involved. I knew nothing of the author and when I made the snap-purchase, expected… Read More ›

Book Review – I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream by Harlan Ellison
Harlan Ellison is an author I’d heard of, but knew nothing about. I bought this book many months ago and by the time I came to read it, had forgotten why I’d bought in the first place. But past-me has… Read More ›

Prepare Your Souls for The Mind’s Plague
Hello there. To those of you who’ve semi-followed me on this blog for a bit, you’re maybe aware that in January I released my debut novella, An Army of Skin. The handful of reviews I’ve had have been extremely humbling… Read More ›

Book Review – The Watcher by Charles Maclean
This book is going to stay with me for a while. Try as I may, I don’t think I’ll ever work it out. But am I really supposed to? This review teeters on spoilery, but knowing a little about the… Read More ›
